Landholders

What is the role of your Land Liaison Officer?

As a landholder, your Land Liaison Officer (LLO) is your key contact person for all project matters during the planning and construction phases. They will provide project information and updates, address any questions and concerns, and consult with you when specific input is required for the project. They will also communicate your views and preferences back to the project team to inform the project planning and design, particularly in relation to tower and access track locations on your property.

You can contact your LLO any time via their direct mobile phone or email to ask any questions you may have about the project. You can request a meeting with your LLO at any time. You can meet at a time and place that suits you and meetings can be held after business hours if that suits you best.

In relation to land access, your LLO will discuss land access protocols and procedures, the land access process, and our commitment to the Essential Services Commission Electricity Transmission Company Land Access Code of Practice with you to ensure any potential impact to your property, lifestyle, operations, biosecurity and any livestock is kept to a minimum.

As part of project design and planning, your LLO will work with you to understand your land use and activities, how the infrastructure will impact your property, discuss the easement requirements and towers and provide information about compensation.

If you are unsure who your LLO is or their contact details, you can request this information from the project team on 1800 WRL WRL (975 975) or via email at info@westernrenewableslink.com.au.
