The helicopter will travel along the full BATs-HOTs lines concentrating on an area approximately 30kms from Ballarat and 30kms from Ararat. The helicopter will be flying as low as 50 metres/160ft AGL (above ground level) along the full route.
Landholders within the fault area will be contacted by their Land Liaison Officer in the event their property will need to be accessed to determine the severity of the fault. Repairs will be carried out at a later date if not deemed to be urgent.
This activity is not part of the Western Renewables Link (WRL) project; however, we’re informing relevant landholders along the project’s proposed route.
